While shaving this morning, I saw the source of the problem, looking back at
me from the mirror.

Rob replied and straightened me out. I will post his interesting comments
on delay in a separate email.
HERE IS THE SCOOP :
The Flex 6xxx was measured by Rob to have '175 mS' delay.
TWO Flex radios in QSO together would have '350 mS' delay.
This can be troublesome.
That's where I picked up the '350 mS' number, but it was a while back and my
grey cells mixed it up.
Problem solved. Once again, it was a short circuit between the headphones
(on my end).
Sorry guys. I apologize to the group on insisting Rob told me 350.
This time it is politically correct to shoot the messanger.
