I have a Omni 6+ that has low receive on all bands , but worse on higher bands
(20-10n). Rig has inrad roofing filter and inrad 400hz and 250 hz in both IFs.
However, the low gain is also with the stock 2.4 filter. When I use an external
preamp with the aux antenna for receive it is better. Using an elecraft xg-2
signal generator at 50 uv, the signal is better but only about S7 on the meter.
I believe the rig is aligned ,and all other functions work. I suspect the
amplifier (on the front end board) before the diode mixer (Q2-Q5) J310 jfets.
There is a test point just after this amp. Does any know the value I can
measure there, or have any experience replacing Jfets? Any help is greatly
