Hi Fellas,
I just started using the 707 mic with my Orion. I'm getting rf
when I use it on 160, I see others have had the same problem. The Orion
is a 4 pin and I have the correct cable for it,plus I have the 8 pin
cable to use with the Eagle.
When I use the Eagle there is no rf using the 707 mic.
I thought maybe there was something wrong with the cable and then I
saw the review by W2RS on eham. He also had some rf problems. He used
some ferrite chokes and all was good.
I have no problem doing this but was wondering if there was
something else better and what was the reason this was happening.
