Am glad Steve's contact details have appeared on this thread..
The audio line on the O6 is complex and can end up with the dreaded
"motor-boating" @ switch=on and finalqudio failure !

Steve has done this repair and is a first class Radiosmith..

John,
I haven't used a repair service (yet). But I did find contact info of
such for you, see the link below. Exline has some good reviews (in
addition to Billy's below).  Also well regarded for TT repair (by
internet folk) is Radiosmith Steve Yuddel in Clearwater, Florida who
has gotten some good recommendations (he is listed as "multi-brand
radio repairs" but folks with TT gear have done well with him).

Hi John,
I was VERY pleased with all the work that Jim @ Exline
Signal has done for me on multiple occasions, so have
no problem recommending him as a solution on this topic.
Hope this helps, and Seasons Greetings,

My "bevloved" TEN TEC Omni VI model 563 needs diagnosis and
repair. . I say "beloved" because of all the radios I have owned
and operated over my 66 years as a ham operator, the Ten Tec Omni
VI is the best including Collins KWM 380, KWM 2 and others. I
purchased a bandpass board removed from a working Ten Tec Omni VI
and installed it in my Omni VI.
My Omni VI fires up normally; with RF gain open it receives much
noise, birdies and        other junk.  It receives a very strong
carrier on 10 mhz WWV.
No amateur signals on any bands. Just phase noise and birdies are
received.
At age 86 years of age, I am not able to pinpoint where all Amateur
bands signals are being interrupted.
All knob functions and SWITCHES potentiometers, and the clock works
well. LOTS of Volume (noise) received on all band positions. VFO
works great according to the digital read out. All push button
switches work as well as transmit/receive. No RF output in
transmit.  I need the services of a great OMNI VI technician.
Please assist me to get my OMNI VI working. There are NO Ten TEC
technicians here in Louisiana. I need to hear from you.
Thanks and 73.
