What a great morning on topband. After beeing up a bit late first I
thought of not going in the shack. As seen on packet that the band should
be open I made the trip round the house. Hm a lot of QRN on the vertical
but signals on the Beverages were good and the QRN dropped with it about
30dbs. J38FR was on 1824.5 with the same signal he had the days before.
KL7KJ was there, I didn't gave him a call cause wkd him 2 times the last
days. Had a quarter of an hour time before going out of the house so
decided to start calling CQ. First Call: AD6C 569; than there were so many
stations calling that for one moment thought of beeing in D6-Land again.
I worked within half an hour: K0FF,NX7K,NO0Y,K9JF,N6TR/7 (peaking
579),KC7V,N6NS,N6SS,K0HA,K9JF/7,KL7Y,AL7QM and nearly was to late for
business this morning...
John AL7QM was about one s unit louder as Dan KL7Y or KL7KJ..
Interesting was the high QRN level on the vertical and nothing on the
Beverages. Think stations in EU without one had a hard stay this morning.

Hope that's a start of a great wintertime
cu 73 Dieter
