Reading various comments on various salts got me to thinking. I do
remember reading somewhere that regular salt will kill things and
rust out stuff. Do not use stuff like copper sulfates etc because
they are dangerous. Good old fashioned epson (SP) ebsom, or however
it is spelled, does just as good of a job and will not harm anything.
