Thanks to a multitude of you who gave me ideas regarding my BCI on
the European beverage. I changed coax/matching transformers (swapped with
the E-W beverage) and no change. Borrowed an ICE Hi-pass Filter and the
signal strength dropped somewhat. So, it is either severe overload or
something rectifying in the near field of the European beverage. Since the
contest starts in about 2 hours, will grin and bear it!
Now, another problem. The TS-850SAT's power output has started to pulse.
The normal output is around 100w. and it drops down to 90w. At first, I
thought it was a bad connection but the same occurs with a dummy load. Has
anyone seen this problem.
