More news was received from Peter around 22:00z on Monday,
Dec 30.
Al, K3VN (ex WA3YVN) arrived on Monday.
The two 10 TON containers were opened and some equipment
as well as the generators were retrieved. All seemed in
good shape.
The Marion dufresne, the ship that will take the crew to
Heard, arrived in port on schedule. They have met the
captain and the crew, and said they are extremely
coooperative. They are very enthousiastic!
Peter made 50 more RTTY contacts today (monday).
On Monday night they will hit 160 as hard as they can
(the European show was excellent, hope they put on a North
American show around their sunrise).
There will be NO activity on Dec 31 (night time). This
is party time for them as well!
They will be active again on Jan 1st on 160 (last night).
