I can remember many many nights when I'd hear some really loud returns on my
signal using the old trusty Omni C...actually quite amazing , the louder the
echoes, the more my DX hound attitude would come out!!!
One evening in particular, chatting with the gang on 1865 I kept hearing what
sounded like a distant, perhaps DX type station trying to call in, only to
switch to the VK beverage and hear the last part of my previous word!
Gawd I miss being on the air!
