But have not the assembled experts said that a dB at any angle is the
same at any other when measuring the FS?
If that is the case angle sensitivity should not matter...nor should
polarization as long as I can deal with the loss. . 
I have already tried a few preliminary tests and 100mw at the 4mile 
remote site gives a very good level.

I do not like wandering around outside during DX hours.
