5R8FU is the new call for Ake SM7CIP now active from Madagascar.
He is former YA1AR and T5AR and since feb 05 this year he is active in a
low profile all band operation. He will probably stay in 5R8 for a long time.
I just received his logs for Feb and March and so far he has managed to work
over 600 QSO's, mostly on CW and on higher frequencies. He has antenna for
160 but so far only 100w power-station and some wire/GP-antennas. Later he
will have a linear running as well together with directional antennas. So
pls STBY.
QSL is still under the printing stage and I will give info here when they
are ready
to go out in the mail.
I still have the logs for YA1AR / T5AR (They will NEVER be closed!!!)
