As VK Contests Co-ordinator and also Manager for the VK psacific 160 m
Contest last Saturday, I would like to say thank you to all who made an
effort to take part and who have already sent me logs.
I was disappointed at the conditions on the day, especially as they had
been so very good only two nights (VK time) before.
[Tom W8JI, that was me trying to call you on CW!!]
I see that some of you made contacts with the usual well-set-up locals,
but I assure you that there were plenty of us listening for you.
I realize that you normally get VK information through Steve VK6VZ and I
have no intention of usurping Steve's place with you; but I did want to
say thanks for the efforts on this occasion.
Look forward to working some of you when things are better.
By the way, I had great reception of the beacons on 1828/1831!!
