A multinational team will activate Paraguay as a multi-multi entry for
the 1999 CQ WW CW contest. Dale, N3BNA, Darrell, AB2E, Jorge, CX6VM
(CX5X), and Juan, ZP5MAL, will activate Juan's contest call ZP6T on
his farm near Asuncion for the contest. Plans call for some ops to be
in ZP from November 20th until December 6th. Also, look for ZP6/N3BNA
who will enter in the ARRL 160M contest. An inverted L for 160 with
beverages will be added as well as a new 40 meter yagi to Juan's world-
class antenna farm. Also planned is a 3 element wire yagi, identical
to the one built at the V26B site and designed by WX0B. Because ZP is
considerably rare on CW, much attention will be paid before and after
the contest to work the highest open WARC band and attempts will be
made frequently for 80 and 160 meters CW after the CQ WW contest.
