>From near Macon, GA signals were northwest to west, even from 
VK3ZL. KH2/K4SXT was in long after daylight when the VK's faded, 
and the ZL digital signals folded up at the first sign of light.

Exceptionally strange conditions, but I think we all expect that in 
unstable or disturbed geomagnetic conditions.

By the way, a couple people "worked" VK9LX on 1829, but it was 
actually VK6HD at the other end. LX was on 1832.
