Randy,

If you have a lot of time and patience then
unbundle the wires from the cable and fan out like wheel
spokes around the base of the antenna (assuming vertical
ant).  Leaving them bundled is like having one wire.
Have as many radials as possible (up to 120 or so)
and as long as possible (say 130 ft or more). 
It is more important to have many short radials
than a just a few long radials.

Is your installation going to be permanent?  If so, I would
suggest using larger gauge wire (insulated or bare) because
it is mechanically more rugged than small telco wire.  Using
insulated wire will provide better corrosion protection
for your radials.  Solder all radials to a "ring ground" at
the base of the antenna.  Install at least one ground rod (with
at least #8 copper wire) for lightning protection.
