As observed by others, the propagation during the Stew Perry contest was
less-than-special.
>From here in northern Colorado, I heard no EU, and the JA opening was
marginal - only 4 worked/heard with 1500 watts, 1/4 wavelength sloper, and a
600 foot beverage NW. I was surprised to see all the comments from W6/W7
about how loud the JA's were. I haven't seen any comments from east of
Colorado about working JA - did anyone, or was I at the eastern edge of the
opening ?
