Tom, V73XP, and Bruce, V73CW, are aware they are not hearing as well as
they (and you) would like on 160m, and they will make an effort to fix
that problem. For reasons related to their location, however, this will
not easy (they are in close proximity to the local population). They
also are on 75/80m and are experiencing fairly good results there;
fortunately, there is not as much local noise on these bands as there is
on 160m. V73XP will be on everyday until the 9th of February, and V73CW
already is active on a continuous basis.
Tom and Bruce have limited access to the Internet, and in addition, such
service is quite costly our there. For these reasons, they are
minimizing their e-mail and other Internet-related activities.
