Hi All,

There has been a lot of discussion about isolating the
antenna from the feedline. Wouldn't an amplifier between
the transformer and the feedline accomplish this, plus give
a few db of gain?
My thought is the amp would prevent coupling from the
shield to the antenna.

I'm still plugging away at building a rotatable flag. I put up
a 10ft tripod, cut an 18ft mast, a 15 ft boom and fabricated
supports for the Y ends from PVC. Still waiting for some
bamboo to be delivered. I buried two coax and two,
4 conductor cables, one for the rotor and the other to
control the termination resistor. (vactrol)
