Topband: alpha delta sloper

As I was scrounging around for parts to build a wire version of the Battle
Creek Special, I noticed a Alpha Delta DX B (1/4 sloper) hangin on the wall
of the garage. This looks alot like the wire BCS. Anybody try mounting these
in a vertical/inv L position, ground mounted with radials? Any thoughts?
