I use a Hy-Tower base as the bottom of my Inv-L, and built a square
out of 3/4-inch copper pipe to surround the concrete base. I 
hammered four 3/4-inch copper pipes 3-feet into the ground at
the corners, then cut off the (crumpled) tops and using corners and 
T-fittings attached the copper square to these four legs.

It's an easy matter to solder radials and straps to the feedpoint to 
this copper buss. I've got over 120 radials ranging in length from 
50 to 200 feet. 

About a foot out from the ground buss, you can lay a square of
2x4s over the radials to make it easier to walk in the vicinity of the 
base without stressing the radial wire connections.
