The best example is GaAsFET preamp discussed elsewhere with NF=0.6 dB and -11
dBm compression point.  You have to find so inefficient antenna to make it give
any sensible contribution to RX performance.  I guess JA HF rig manufacturers
assume that hams are using indoor antennas when they produce RX with NF = 5 dB.
On the other hand, when you read a 4 dB recommendation for 160 m from a
distinguished amateur authority...
