Bill points out that I should have specified that the levels I'm hearing are on my transmit antenna - a K3LR/W9LT-style 4-element lazy vee parasitic array - with my TS-930's SSB filters (2.8 khZ @ 6 db down, I believe). Noise blanker and preamp not in use.
