Hello: I'm in the process of installing a Hy-gain Hy-tower (MFJ Version). I've purchased the MK-160A inverted L kit and am wondering if there are any tips or mods out there to make this antenna perform better on 160M (or 80M). The other question I have is that the MK-160A connects at the 24 foot level. Does this mean the vertical element above this point does not radiate at 160M? Or does this make the antenna a "sideways T". Any tips or comments appreciated! Greg K0PJ/9 EN63 |
