hello reflectees ! On my antenna installations i use for contact protection a regular battery contact grease. That has to go in between the washers,screws and nuts. To apply silicone alone may provide a capillary effect and do no good. Contacts are no longer open for visual inspection after silicone sealing. Old wisdom is that many and big antennas need a lot of maintenance - in that case there is no such thing as a free lunch. 73 de wolf df2py |
