Hi-
I have tried looking through archives for the answer, and got frustrated.
Can anyone recommend a source for radial wire for vertical antennas. I have
seen prices ranging from $21.00 to over $40.00 for 1000 feet. I don't think
it makes a difference if it is insulated or un-insulated. It does make a
difference if it is cupric or ferric. Because I am dealing with fairly
wooded forest, I thought 20 or 22 AWG would be the easiest to fit around the
roots, rocks and stumps.
My best estimate of the amount of wire needed?.....9- 1000 foot spools
should be a very good start.
Thanks
Scott C.
