The standard method used by the broadcast industry is to run a copper strap
in a closed loop around the perimeter of the building. Terminate radials to
the strap, then on the opposite side of the building, bond a wire to the
strap and continue each radial to its full length in a straight line away
from the tower, so that the end of the radial is the same distance away from
the tower as the uninterrupted radials.

This is a common problem with AM towers where transmitter, studio or storage
buildings are located within the radial field.
