FWIW, at this QTH the FT-1000MP was significantly more immune to blocking
from very strong signals on the band than the Omni VI+
One's choice of "the best 160 rx" certainly depends on the signal levels of
other nearby topbanders at the locale. At my QTH, it was no contest between
these two radios when there were very strong signals on the band.
