ZK3SB had a good signal around 1030z today on 1824.4 kHz, listening up 500 hz.
He seemed to alternate between 160 and 40 meters over the next hour or so. He
was hearing quite well.

About 1150z, just before our sunrise, I heard a weak DX station on 1820 kHz but
it was zero beat with our usual BC harmonic on that frequency and copy was very
difficult. The BC harmonics were about S5 -- had he moved up or down just a bit
copy would have been easy. It got worse at 1200z when another BC station fired
up and we then had an S7 harmonic there. Found out later it was V73MJ we had
been hearing.

1820, 1830, 1840 kHz have steady carriers in the USA from BC harmonics and
should be avoided by DX stations.
