I'm only repeating what the company told me when I asked them if
their red "corner" insulators (egg insulators) were still available
(I could only find black ones).   They gave the reason...and 
they were'nt kidding!!  

Their line of products were called Red Snap'r...a trademark for 
them.  The red color was a brand recognition thing.
