Chuck, Presuming the total length will be 500-600 feet, and as such the end
pattern nose is broad, the bend may cause a slight pattern skew. But since
your interest is a lower noise on RX your efforts will likely be productive
even with the bend.

As the top band OT used to say " a bent Beverages is far better than no
Beverage at all!"
