Jeff, I used CT Version 10.0.0.1 which prohibits me from logging non-US DX.
I suppose the Rules should make it clear that *any U.S. Possession for the
purpose of this contest is considered W/VE. Hopefully the contest logger
gurus would do an update that would take this into consideration.
Herb I just checked this. After you enter the
normal setup info for the ARRL 160, you are asked for your
ARRL "Section". Choices include "PR, VI, PAC and AK". If
you enter "VI", CT allows you to log both DX and US stations,
just like everyone here. I suspect you did not enter
anything, which made the software assume you were DX and
not an ARRL Section. Now you know what to do next year!

P.S. PR = KP4, VI = KP2/KV4, PAC = any US possession in
the Pacific (including KH6) and AK = KL7.
