I have not yet used a ANC-4 but am using the MFJ-1026 wiith some mods for
low band operation.I phase it with my co-ax loop
rx antenna and also with a K9AY loop and sometimes even with the vertical tx
antenna. Results vary but I have used it over this weekend to make to make
the first (as far as I know)ever ZS1 to JA qso and also the first ZS1 to VK3
qso.
Some people with Beverage antennas and phased arrays may not find the same
benefit in using it but on a small city lot(suburban lot)like mine, I find
it very useful and in constant use.

I hope it helps.
