Does anyone have suggestions or critical commentary on the idea of "guying"

a 60 ft alum monopole (with 10 ft dia top hat) using horizontal lines
attached to two trees - one on each side of the monopole?

==================================

Guying with TWO horizontal lines is not going to work _unless_ you have
several sets of different heights! Even with several different heights, it
will be a floppy system. A single set will allow the antenna to pivot about
the base and fall to either side.

You will need at least three sets to keep it upright plus some strain relief
on at least one set of guys.
