It's not too early to be thinking about the famous Stew Perry topband
DX Challenge and the world famous plaque program that goes with it.
I'm expecting the plaque master to announce this sometime in the coming
weeks so now is a good time to be thinking of a good category to enter
into mahogany row.
Unlike the CQ and ARRL plaque line up, ("boring"), the Stew has really
cool ones to win. I even won one once, oldest guy in top ten that stayed
up all night, or something like that.
But the real reason I'm posting this is to give everyone their one month
reminder the Stew warm-up is 1500Z, Oct 18 to 1500Z, Oct 19.
Okay, you read the e-mail, coffee is gone, time to get up and outside to
string another 20 radials and sneak the Northwest beverage back into the
field so you can hear me and I can hear you.
