Yeah, it scares off elephants too. Proof -- you aren't troubled by 
elephants, so it must work. 

If you still believe that it works, I suggest that draw a circuit diagram  
with values, showing that there is measurable attenuation of a 3MHz-30MHz 
signal coming from some source and ending up somewhere it could be 
detected.
