Check out Battle Creek Trapper or Battle Creek Special. Its a very proven design. Mine is 1.3:1 on 40m , 1.2:1 on 80m, and 1:1 on 160m. Fed only with RG8X and 24 radials with 400 sq. ft. of chicken wire at the feedpoint.
