Thanks to Gary KA1J, Bob G3REP, Bob W0BR and all the others who sent me a
wealth of information on projectile launch devices for antenna erection.
I'm not sure how available sprinkler trigger valves are here in UK as we are
more concerned with lawn drainage than with lawn irrigation! As soon as I
escape from this hospital, I will investigate our building suppliers and garden
centres to see what they have. Has anyone thought of enclosing the pressure
chamber inside a piece of wide diameter rubber hose, or even shrink sleeving,
to get over the safety issue of exploding PVC?
