I spoke with Yaesu on this question and received the answer that the rotor must be insulated from any surface that carries RF to prevent "unexpected behavior" and/or damage to the rotor and/or control box. I'd like to know if there are simpler solutions that readers of the reflector have used successfully. I just put up my tower single-handed a year ago (that was a lot of work for a first-timer) and I'm not feeling all that ready to go back up and start messing with it. -- 73 -- Brian -- K1LI _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw?
