On an Amidon W2FMI UnUn Transformer, what would be the closest description of
the impedance mismatch of 50 ohm coax to the feedpoint of a vertical obtaining
the lowest SWR using B-F ports? I recently redid the MA160M Vertical feed
point and found the natural SWR, since removing the nearby30-160M sloper, that
the minimum SWR without the UnUn went from 3.2:1 up to to 5.3:1. Now I am
really convinced I have a great radial field considering without it hooked up,
I’m 1:...... This combination gets it to 1.6:1 match with 15KHz of usable 3:1
bandwidth- Does anyone have the matching chart for the Amidon W2FMI UnUn
Transformer?
