Hi Thanks to all those that replied;  and especially to John G3PQA, who I
felt I had put on enough to mither him again ! 

 

Seems like it's not critical for a pair; though one station favours in line.

 

And don't worry about our radials Guy; we normally take care of this OK (we
are regulars on this contest); we usually have a good DX haul with a single
vertical, and a dipole.

 

Let's start praying to the propagation Gods!!
