Just got on 160 meters a few weeks ago with a fairly low Inverted L (35' vertical, the rest horizontal), and only two 125' long elevated radials. Was easily able to work T32C Friday morning (05:30) using 100 watts from a K3, and then heard them again later, at 11:30 PM. Guess that all-water path from northern California to Christmas Island helps! Jim / W6JHB _______________________________________________ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK |
