I am using this engine and it is faster. I'm not sure about the 10x though.

Hello Topbanders,

I noticed this come across another list and thought I would share it here.
Have any of you used this?

This guy decided to take on the very dirty task of rewriting the 1980's
FORTRAN code that makes up the NEC2 engine, and turn it into a
multithreaded, x86 assembler beast.

He's reporting 10x increase in speed, and it's compatible with 4nec2. Drop
in replacement.
