They were supposed to be non-inductive carbon, but need to find something better like carbon film.

What kind of resistors are you using?

They shouldn't do that if you use the right type.

After recent night time thunder storm activity, two Beverage antennas lost some directivity. Termination resistors looked normal, but an ohmmeter checked reviled they had each gone
hundreds of ohms higher.  Replaced resistors and back to normal.
