Greetings, I have four choices for a TX antenna on 160m. Your input as to which would work best would be greatly appreciated. 1) Shunt fed 106' crank-up tower with some top loading from a Steppir DB-36 plus VHF antennas on a 20' mast. 2. Shunt fed 89' crank-up tower with a multi band HF beam plus some VHF antennas on a 20' mast. 3). Inv L, using 106' crank up for support and running remainder of wire to nearby tree. 4). 80' Eucalyptus tree about 20' from crank-up towers for Inv L. Radials available for all. Thanks, Ed NI6S _________________ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband |
