Thanks to your post I got on 160 at 0230z last night and heard Karel
CQDXing. With my 52 ft tall, 0.25 wave Inv-L working against a single
ground rod ( all 28 radials were still coiled up and hanging from a
walnut tree- the same tree that supports my 52 ft tall x1.5" mast made
of 4 ft sections of mil surplus aluminum mast sections) we exchanged
599's both ways. Karel said "160 is GREAT tonight!" So I CQ'd for
about 10 minutes but gathered no replies.....
