Au contraire! Stubs are very effective, and they handle the high power
of the amp output more easily than lumped constant filters. They provide
attenuation on harmonicly related bands - which is just what you want.
Remember that a lot of the junk you need to get rid of is being
generated in the amp, so filters between the exciter and amp
do nothing for amp-generated harmonic energy...
