Now admittedly, I don't have the weather that you midwest and east coast
guys have, but I used Ox-gard (grey) two years ago when I put up my beam and
haven't had any change in SWR, which would be indicative of the problem you
mention. The only problem I did have was that on split tubing/hose clamp
joints it reduces friction enough to make a tight connection more difficult.
