Hello -- I have the opportunity and desire to purchase a Tri-Ex LM-470
70 foot crank-up tower. A local ham has one and is looking to sell his.
The tower is approximately 2 years old and has a new motor installed due
to a lightning strike. The tower is in excellent condition but had to
be welded to a an existing base mounting. My question is what is a fair
market value for the tower? I am not looking to "steal" the tower but
also do not want to pay an excessive price. What are your opinions on
its worth? The new cost of the tower was $3658 plus shipping.
