In a message dated 97-02-17 20:05:18 EST, you write:

<< loss of aluminum or
aluminum oxide particals was directly proportionate to the amount of power
it exuded, the loss of aluminum oxide molecules being calculated at the
resonant frequency divided by the average mean temperature in centigrade.
the quotient then being multiplied by power in watts. >>

Hmmmm... Bottom of 20 meters is 14mc and the temp outside right now is,
ummmm lessee, it's exactly zero degrees centigrade....
So, running the numbers -> (freq / centigrade) X (watts...)

Ummm, lets do it in steps... that's (14,000,000-cps / 0-degC) = INFINITY...

now, _Infinity_ times 1500W = A Very Very Very Big Number, exceeding the
number of molecules in the Universe....

So, the beam will vanish instantly as a haze of aluminum oxide when I touch
the key... For that amount of bulk aluminum to be converted to isolated,
oxidized molecules in _Zero_ time requires the release of an _Infinite_
amount of energy, meaning that the universe will be melted in an energy
flash.... jeez..
DON'T TOUCH THAT KEY !!!!!

Yup, sounds about right for a government ordered, tax funded, research
program...
