I have added just a few notes and 1 graphic to the EDZ Update notes at the
site.  They are unimportant practically, unless you are curious about how
you might make a non-Yagi beam with 21 dBi forward gain, more than 25 dB
F-B, and 16-17 degrees beamwidth--in case you have a friend 10,000 miles
away with whom you want a private conversation and you left your cell
phone at the office.  In one sense, the array is just some cheap wire and
simple in principle.  In another sense, as a mental exercise, it is fairly
sophisticated, using a half dozen or so (depending on how you count)
different antenna principles in combination.  In fact, if you like to test
yourself every now and then, ask yourself this question:  compared to a
dipole, from where does each small increment of performance come?

I know:  it is May, final exam season, and I just turned a curiosity into
the last question for Antennas 101.  Sorry about that; occupational
hazard.
